Day 1: Cairo – Pyramids and Sphinx

Early morning pick-up from your Alexandria hotel.

Travel to Cairo in a private air-conditioned vehicle (approx. 3 hours).

Upon arrival, explore the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure.

Visit the Sphinx and the Valley Temple, marveling at the ancient tombs and funerary structures.

Lunch at a local restaurant with authentic Egyptian cuisine.

Afternoon visit to the Egyptian Museum, housing thousands of artifacts, including treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb.

Day 2: Saqqara, Dahshur, and Return to Alexandria

After breakfast, visit Saqqara, the burial ground of the ancient capital Memphis. Explore the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest stone pyramid in Egypt, and nearby tombs adorned with ancient inscriptions.

Continue to Dahshur to see the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid, remarkable examples of early pyramid construction.

Lunch at a local restaurant near the pyramids.

Afternoon departure back to Alexandria, arriving in the evening.
